I have successfully booked online thru internet & travelled on Tatkal booking several times.
But, after the introduction of 2 days Tatkal, it is impossible to get a booking online. Even if I am online, it doesnot accept until 08.00 AM. But, the moment it opens, the system stops working & comes back after 5-10 mins. only.By this time, all the tatkal quota is full.
The change intrduced by the new Railway minister in her budget is just for the change, it is neither benefitting genuine tatkal travellers.
Also, I suspect, there is a fraud being done by agents. Otherwise, it is impossible that all the tatkal tickets can go offline within 1-2 mins.
Indian Railways Software/Commercial people, I request you to investigate.
