For not providing Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connection in to my house evenafter completing all formalities

Because of the spelling mistake in the name of company in my earlier complaint, I am repeating my complaint again. Inconvenience causing is heightly regretted please. I, Mahender Pal Sharma, Inspector/Indo Tibetan Border Police Force is posted in Arunachal Pradesh, whereas my children are studying in Delhi. Indrapashtha Gas Ltd, had installed PNG fitting in to my House 119/14 Sector-1, Pushpvihar, but not connected it to my Gas apparatus, in spite of submitting all requisite documents by my wife in to their office in my absence. Now when I arrive at Delhi on leave I contacted customers service centre Sector-9, RK Puram, where they are demanding bribe in indirect way or to fill up the form with security money. The Gas meter is leaking, but when my children complaint, it was always told by customer care that you have no PNG connection. The behavior of the customer care service was also very bad quality. A Fat man sitting on the chair was not only misbehaved, even did not tell his name also.

In this connection it is stated that :-

1. Indraprashtha Gas Lmtd. (IGL) installed gas fitting in to my house in April on the order of CPWD.

Their workers visited in to my house and told to give allotment order of my quarter no 119/14,

sector-14, Pushp Vihar. Which was given to them at that time.

2. After that, they provided connection in to maximum houses in my block, but it is not provided into

my house, I dont know whether it was knowingly or unknowingly or my be possible that at the time

they visited in April on that day room may be locked. But even after submitting require

documents in their office Sector-9, RK Puram. My children / wife regular requested them to connect

that fitting with my gas apparatus.

3. When, I arrived at home on leave from Arunachal Pradesh, I contacted Customer Care Service of IGL

Gas Ltd. and requested to connect my apparatus with PNG, it was straightway refused that you will

have apply for connection by filling up a form costing Rs.100/- with security money, whereas it was

not charged by any one of my neighbors.

4. The matter is just clear that I am posted in Arunachal Border, and my children/wife requested on

pone only after providing gas fitting in to my house. Only a single quarter allotment letter was asked

by them at the time of providing gas connection, which was given to them.

5. The pipe fitting installed by IGL is leaking in my kitchen, When they were requested to repair it,

it was replied that you are not connected with PNG.

6. During my visit to Customer Care Centre, Plot. No.4, Sector-9, RK Puram. The employer behaved

in a poor and very bad manner. Actually they firstly asked me in indirect way to provide bribe stating

that "Your meter has already been installed " fitting is completed, there is no problem,

but... stopped. and after some time he stated that you will have to fill up form costing

Rs.100/- and pay Money Rs.700/-

7. When, the Coy installed IGL Meter in my house, without my consent, it was their responsibility to

connect my Gas apparatus with the pipe line, as they provided in to other houses without charging

any cost in April as they provided in to other houses at that time.

8. Leaving my house without connection is a default of Companies Engineers who visited in to my

house for fixing Gas Pipe Line. Where as my children complained again and again on phone to

the IGL.. The IGL employees asked on phone to submit quarter allotment letter in their office.

Which were given by my wife immediately again in their office.

9. The gas pipeline fixed in my kitchen is leaking regularly slowly slowly. It was complained on phone but it was replied that you are not connected by Pipeline, don’t worry.

I, Therefore request the consumer forum that my family is living in a very hazardous condition when the pipeline line is leaking in my kitchen. It may be cause of a very serious fire accident in my absence as I am posted on Arunachal Pradesh Border and my family is living for studying children here. Hence, the Indrapashtha Gas Ltd. may be directed either to disconnect gas pipeline immediately or to provide gas connection in to my kitchen with leak proof supply, as is being provided into other houses.
