IRCTC/Food served in Railways
Poor quality and limitation of choice in food served on Geetanjali Express

Sir: During my journey from Tatanagar to Kalyan by Geetanjali Express Tarin No 2860-journey starting date 25/08, My PNR No. 6217825859 and Transaction id-0058948607 : the concerned catering licencee company (Foodworld) representative for coach no S-5 berth no 56, has refused to serve the Veg Meal @ Rs 32 and I was forced to take Special Meal @ Rs 54/- at the same time he has also refused to serve egg curry, stating that it is not economically viable to serve it/on the other hand egg Biryani and Omelettes were being served around by these people in the same train. To add the quality of food is also deteriorating from bad to worse.

Pl note the receipt no. of the food order for the aforementioned date was 27394 dated 26/08/08 from the catering licencee company (Foodworld).

Pl take up my case to help improve the services of the biggest Govt company -the indian railways so as to serve the poor people of the country, who may not be able to register complains.
