IRCTC Nexus with Agents Touts

Dear Sir/Madam,

Today (3rd July) I tried to book a tatkal ticket from MFP to NDLS for 5th July.

At 8:00 AM it showed me more than 150 tickets in majority of the trains.

When I submitted the list of passingers then, it continued to show me a message "Try another Train/Class/Date" for all the trains and number of seats decreasing continuously.By 08:25 AM all the seats were full and then it allowed me to book a waitlisted tatkal ticket. Which is of no use.

It has been shown on TV channels as well that IRCTC is not allowing normal passingers to book Tatkal ticket. Whereas the agents and touts are able to book a ticket for you but they charge more than double than the ticket price.

Is IRCTC or Mamta Banarjee doing any thing for this?

Congress government has always been a party to jamakhor. We can t afford to pay huge money to touts and IRCTC agents. Railway ministry should take stern action against IRCTC.
