Non-receipt of Income Tax Refunds for assessment year 2006 and 2008

Dear Sir,

I had filled my saral forms for the assessment years 2006 and and am eligible for IT refunds of Rs. 2023 and Rs. 5851.00 respectively for these years.

I have visited the I.T. office many a times in the last 2-3 years. They had asked for my bank account details and promised me that the refund amount will directly go to the bank, but so far I have not received any of the refunds. I have made several phone calls to the I.T. office but there is no positive response.

Could someone please help me in getting my IT refunds? Please help.
