Have given my zen D to change the Clutch plate as advised by the service advisor from MSM, Chennai on 16th August.
I have received a call on 18th August stating that the vehicle is ready for delivery.
When i went to take the delivery and about to make the payment, was told to wait for 15 minutes. No answer for 30 minutes and later came to know that the warning light was started blinking immediately after. the water wash and they are checking it..
Next day also no answer and still they are checking the status.
I met the Works Manager Mr. K R Madhan on 19th August morning regarding this. After spoke to his team he said he was on leave yesterday and he will give me a call and update the status by 10.30 a.m.
I have received a call from Mr Arul and said the sensor has to be replaced and the will deliver the car in the evening.. When I called around 4.00 p.m he said they received wrong spare so the car will be delivered on 20th August.
I have received a call from him around 6.00 p.m and said the car is ready for delivery. Since am, busy with my work, I told him that will take the delivery on 21st August.
When I went there today (21st August) they asked me to Pay an additional cost of Rs. 1400/- and they are kind enough to waive off the labour charge of Rs.140/- to replace the sensor...
I refused to pay the additional cost and didn't take the delivery.
Would like to appreciate the Leadership of Mr Madhan who feels that calling the customer directly is prestigious issue for him and that is the reason he never called me again and he is responsible for "Caring the Customers in Chennai division"
If Maruthi is serious about this, will definitely enquire this and contact the respective customer..
