Dear Sir,
I am the employee of the above said company & we are dealing with Radioisotopes & Radiopharmacuticals which is been supplied to various hospitals in India. The Radio isotopes is getting used in cancer, cardiac & other patient to treat them. One of our compititor M/s. Saxsons Biotech, Delhi is also importing the same products which we are also, but he has got the octroi exumption long back. In this case he is not paying the octroi & on the other hand when we have applied for such exumption they have rejected ours stating that Saxson's is paying the octroi. but actually he is not paying it.
I have few quaries expecting the genune answer form the dept.
1.Why the rule is different for different organization?
2.Why our exumption is rejected, which was accompanying the copy of certificate which is given to other importers in same products?
3.If Dr's in Nuclear Medicine is saying it is an life saving drug then why BMC is charging octroi on it?
4.Is the BMC is helping the poor & needly patient by this?
5.it is coming under DGR 7 class as per IATA rule & its perishable material, it is as good as garbage if consignment delay by 2-3 days in this senario how BMC is helping poor patients? by charging extra burdan in terms of octroi on it.
