Dear Sir,
1. There was information from the government that BMTC busfares were reduced. There are also advertisement from the government that they reduced the bausfares of various types of services. This advertisements are only an eye wash. I am a regular traveller in the BMTC bus and I am still paying the same bus fare. Whenever the petrol and diesel prices are increased, the next day the BMTC increase the busfare without any hesitation. This indicates that they never reduces the bus fare and only provide advertisements only.
2. This is regarding checking the tickets. Some times the checking people will enter into the bus in rush ours. Some travallers may enter from one bus stop and in the next bus stop the checking inspectors will enter. Some time the bus stops will be very closer and the traveller will not be able to purchase the ticket, since the conductor may be away from him. And the checking people will harass the traveller, even there is not fault with the traveller. they will take Rs. 100/- and give the receipt of Rs.90/- and will not give the change back also. Either there should be machanism to give the ticket immediately after entering the bus. But on many occassions this can not be done due to rush in the buses.
