I have purchased a Kodak Camera based on the advertisement that I have seen in Bangalore Times on 22nd August Saturday. The advertisement made my Kodak clearly states that the Kodak M340 Digital Camera is priced at Rs. 7499 including 4 GB memory card, lithium battery and pouch.
In the same page of Bangalore Times there is an advertisement made by Whizz which states that Free 2 GB MP3 Player with every camera. Seeing this advertisement I tried calling the mobile no. mentioned in the News Paper. The Airtel no. has been kept switched off by Whizz so that the customers can not reach them. I had walked into the Whizz store at Forum Mall and purchased the camera. There to my surprise I found that the store was not aware of the consumer offers and denied everything.
Later after making the purchase, when I found that I have been cheated, I called up the Whizz, Dickenson Road branch, and Mr. Mnjunath told me that I have been provided wrong information by the Forum store.
Later all the Whizz management people started mis-interpreting things to me and stated diverting me to the corner.
I am surprised by the bad and rude behaviour of their Manager Gayathri.
Ii would be great if there is any court which can help me in this regard, I would like to get in touch with the court and lodge a complaint.
