Sir: It is a matter of regret that the LPG Distributor, M/s Krishna Gas Agency Gauripur, Dhubri, Assam has been continuing with its irregularities and harassing the consumers which is executed by the involvement of the Agency in selling the refill issued against a consumer to another consumer and delivering the refill issued to the deserving consumer after fifteen days of repeated persuasions and after lodging of several complaints. This had been the practice of the distributor for a long period and a tactic for promoting corruption. Sir the emplyees at the above mentioned distributing centre behaved with me using filthy and threatening langage warning me of suffering when i approached them for timely delivery of my plg refill after booking (Consumer no 02652) the same on time, that is, 17-04. Though the refill was booked on 17th april i did not receive the same till morning of 22nd april and subsequently when i went to the agency for enquiring about the non delivery of the refill one employee named Alokesh Roy told me that the delivery boy has been already on his way with the refill, while it is not even issued to the delivery boy and may be that the delivery boy has been instructed to supply the refill agianst my name to some other consumer. When i went to the agency to inform the employee about non receipt of the refill i was again falsely told that the same has already reached my home. After spending rickshaw fare worth Rs 70/- when for the third time i went to the agency i could catch hold of the delivery boy, Jaltu Roy, who told me that no refill was issued against my name till then. Subsequently when I expressed my grievances in front of Mr Jagadish Roy he threatened my with filthy lanaguage that he would make me suffer if i express such grivences against him. In this connection I would also like to bring to your notice that the delivery of my lpg refill booked on 17-03-09 was supplied to me on 28-03-09 while the previous refill was supplied to me on 25-02-09. It is quite obvious that the agency officials supply the refill much after the consumer has suffered with no lpg cylinder at home. Sir this is not an isolated case against, most of the consumers are made to face this kind of harrasment and the whole Gauripur area is crying for a vigilance action in this regard. I, therefore, pray to the Vigilance Officer to enquire into the matter and take action against the guilty employee.
