Sir, I am working as a Scientist at ADRDE (DRDO, Ministry of Defense), Agra. I want to bring to your kind notice an incident which occurred to me recently.
I have booked my reservation from Agra Cantt. to Jhansi on 15/08/08 in Taj Express (Train number 2280). My coach was D2 berth number 93 & 94 (PNR no: 215-1112200 & Ticket no: 01883585). I was traveling along with my wife. There was a great rush in the train due to Raksha-bandhan & Indepenance day. Coach was full of unauthorized passengers. These unauthorized passengers were sitting on reserved berths and not vacating the seat on request. Passengers were so unfriendly that they were not even allowing anybody to enter the coach. We entered the coach with a great difficulty. I have tried to search Traveling ticket examiner (TTE) on Duty so that I that I can get my seat. I kept searching TTE throughout full journey but I was not able to trace him. Mental trauma which I suffered on that day I only knows. I am thinking if any mishappening had happened to me on that awful day who will be responsible?
It is the duty of TTE that unauthorized person should not board the reserved compartments. I request you to take strict action against the on duty TTE so that such incidents should not happen in future.
