Landlord not returning security deposit

Dear sir,

I am software engineer and staying in 3BHK at KANAKA NAGAR, bangalore. I took this 3BHK flat on rent in Aug with security deposit as 75000 Rs and vacating by June 09 after giving 1 month notice as per agreement. Now landlord is trying to extract as much as possible money from security deposit. Can you help me how to get security deposit by legal way?
