Most rude and insincere customer service

Hi,

I purchased a Videocon 1.5 ton A.C in May from Next. The A.C. wasn't functioning properly. When I called in Videocon, they said it was due to a faulty stabilizer which was purchased along with the A.C.

I reported this to the store as both were under warranty, there was no reply from their end for a month. When I visited the store I filed a complaint and the manager told me it will be replaced within a day. I called them repeatedly for the next 6 days only to hear that there was no service engineer. When I was furious at this I said the manager, "You have lost a customer." The manager was rude enough to reply, "Ok, sir." and drop the call.

The service engineer who came in wasn't well equiped to fix the equipment and demanded Rs.100 as visiting fees. When I stated that I'll pay only after the equipment is properly set, he started arguing. Quite expected for a service person under a rude manager!!!

So, if you want good sales and after sales service, DO AVOID NEXT ELECTRONICS..or be doomed as a customer!!
