Battery will not charge or discharge - Lenovo 3000 N100

Dear Sir,

We had logged a complaint regarding non-charging of laptop battery earlier on 17-9 Vide complaint No P4S6G3K. We had recently learned from lenovo's website that it has arranged for a free battery replacement program for the faulty batteries for the 3000 N laptops. This information wasn't passed on to me when I had actually logged the complaint and instead was given a quote for purchase of new battery. The following is the weblink where lenovo has published the information

Inspite of the repeated requests over emails and calls to the call center there hasn't been any reponse from your end till date. Request you to look into the issue and arrange for the replacement which I am entitled for. I am attaching below all the emails I had sent earlier to the concerned authorities.
