Looking for best customer service, Go for LG products. This is what I was told before I decided to buy an LG double door refrigerator, Model#338 VA4 worth Rs.18, 500 on March 21st. Its been only 3 months and we had to register a complain for the compressor not working.
1. On 6th July Complain # N9C70600331 was logged in at 8.30am by a Customer service rep. named Sanjeev.
2. As the fridge was not functioning for the last two days, the request was placed to attend it on priority.
3. Since we are a working couple we requested them to send the Service Engineer at the scheduled time. Given the assurance that the technician will be at our door step by 12 if not earlier I decided to go to office late.
4. At 11am we received a call from the technician who claimed to visit us between 12 – 1pm. But turned up by 3.30pm.
5. I placed a call again to the service centre and I was told that there is nothing that can be done as the status was showing PROCESSED. I was told to be patient. Till 5pm no one turned up.
6.By now I had called my boss that I’m not coming to Office anymore.
7. I called the service centre again. They gave us 3 different numbers for different service centres. However, for hours nobody picked up the phone. This was to add up to the surprise as one of the number was a mobile number. Below are the 2 numbers we tried :98733256687 (SHARP SERVICES), and 011-42091400 (TESCENT SERVICES).
8. The technician who was supposed to visit us was from TESCENT SERVICES. There was no communication to tell us the reason for the delay. This is the most upsetting part.
9. I as the customer am highly disappointed with the customer service provided as it resulted in entire day wasted sitting back home like a house arrest and still nobody turned up.
10. This is not it. We even tried to seek help from one of the customer service supervisor Devinder Singh to get the technician arranged..To add to our woes, instead of providing any help or solution we were taught about their working hours and yet no solution.By this time I had almost lost our temper and asked for his Employee Code which he denied to share stating it to be a policy. He works at the Noida Centre.
11. I am highly disappointed with the way my request was handled. Could you please consider this to be a feedback and take required action if possible.
12. I would never go or recommend people to buy LG products because better customer service was the only reason why I bought it.
