Local electrician
Need advise what to do?

Hi,

I am resident of Gurgaon. I just need advice or suggestion for a problem which i faced few days back. My door bell was out of working. I called a local electrician whose shop is very near (200 m) to my home to make my door bell working. He checked the same and found that all was fine only wire of bell switch was cut. He connected wire to switch and it was working. After that, i told him to disconnect one point from invereter. He did it but i didn't check that time. After finishing his work (total time he spent hardly 15 mins), he asked for rs 100 for service charge. I told him that generally service charges are rs 50. He replied that i don't know but we charged 100. After 5 mins arguements, i gave him rs 30 (which worth to his work). After he left, i found that he disconnected all points of that particular area (backside) from inverter. I revisited his shop again then he denied to come and told me gave me first rs 100 then i'll go and then i asked to shopkeeper owner, he told me that service charges are rs 50 and u gave him rs 30, so we will not got. Then i told him that your worker was telling about sevice charges are rs 100 (contradiction in both statement). Then owner kept silent. Then i asked to return money if you don;t want to come. Then owner denied and misbehaving.

What should I do in that case when I don't have any receipt from them? I also want to know is there any fault from my side to gave him rs 30 (beacuse he just connected wire one side and disconnedted other side). How can we stop these type of prolems from local shopkeepers (its like gundagardi). Please give your views.
