Delay in payment of cheque

Dear Sir,

We have our account (Acc. No. 220 - in the name of Maa Sai School) in your Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) branch, located at Meera Nager. We have deposited one cheque of Rs. 75000/-(cheque No. 427218) of Kanara Bank, Madiwala Banglore - 560068 on 09.08.2008. yesterday on 25.08.2008 we visited your bank & asked for payment, the concerned official replied that your cheque has returned from Banglore because address of our Banglore branch has changed. We have purchased bus for school & immediately money is required, we are in great problem.

We just want to know that - its whose fault?

Is it not required by concerned branch to inform the change of address to avoid inconvenience.

I asked concerned official of chittorgarh branch to enquire about change of address on Allahbad Bank website, he replied that we don’t have internet facility.

Please arrange the payment as early as possible.
