Sub: Harrasment & Unsatisfactory Services given by Authorized Maruti Dealer at Panipat & Maruti Care Centre

Dear Sir,

With heavy heart I would like to approach your good office and place before you my grievance mentioned below:-

Recently, I have purchased a Maruti Swift VDI Car from Maruti Authorized dealers i.e.M/s Harisons Automobiles, G.T.Road, Panipat. I had deposited with M/s Harisons Automobile advance payment as under:-

(Rs.)

(i) Advance 50, 000.00 Cheque No.020204 dtd 27/01

(ii) EFT 2, 15, 000.00 Cheque No. 020210 dtd 09/04

(III) SBI 2, 30, 000.00 Cheque SBI dated 09/04

(iv) Cash 9, 712.00 Receipt No. REC09000064 dtd 09/04

(v) Cash 14, 448.00 Receipt No. REC09000063 dtd 09/04

(A) TOTAL 5, 19, 160.00

However when the bill issued by M/s Harisons Automobiles (Hande over to me after 10 days & also visiting their show room so many times), I surprised to find that the same was issued for Rs. 501917.00. When contacted Mr. Bali Sales Manager, Harisons Automobiles for the above difference, it was clarified that an amount of Rs. 14448.00 was pertaining to Insurance and Rs. 400.00 for Temp. Registration. Charges. Therefore, the following amount was adjusted against my advance payment as mentioned above Rs. 519160.00

Bill No. VSL09000017 dtd 10/04 Rs. 501917.00

Insurance Charges Rs. 14448.00

Temp. Regn. Charges Rs. 400.00

(B) TOTAL Rs. 516765.00

From the above detail, you will find that an amount of Rs. 2395.00 was excess charged from me. When asked from Mr. Bali, Sales Manager regarding the difference he did not give any satisfactory reply and plainly refused to refund the excess amount charged from me.

The behaviors and attitude of Mr. Bali was not up to the mark and I have no word to express my feelings that a reputed Company like Maruti such type of dealers have been appointed those are not competent to honor the genuine grievance of a customer.

Needless to mention here that I am an employee of M/s. National Fertilizers Ltd., (A Govt. of India Undertaking, Panipat).

After conveying my grievance many times to Maruti Customer care Centre (T.No. 18001800180), Now they claried that this amt. pertain to additional waranty period. for which I have never given my consent verbally or in writing. Till date Maruti Care Centre also failed to arrange my refund from their authorised dealers M/S Harison Automobiles, GT Road, Panipat.

Under the above circumstances I have no other alternative to approach your good office to look into my grievance & take approapriate action so that I can get my amt. back Rs. 2, 395.00 which was excess got deposited by Maruti Authorised dealers i.e.M/s HARISONS AUTOMOBILES, G.T.ROAD, PANIPAT.

An early action is requested please.
