I bought a Maruti Swift VXI model Vehicle Regn No DL3CAJ4889,
Chassis No 103957, Engine No 204793 Km 42654 Colur M Mint Frap from M/s
Marketing Times Automobiles Pvt Ltd on 2nd May
I had my last servicing on 13 Apr where I spent INR 8038 [ INVOICE NUMBER BR09000351 DATE 13/04 ] in servicing.
I was told since the car had crossed 40000 KM, so it needs lots of servicing due lots of technical difficulties. I asked them when I purchased the car that time it had already crossed 40000KM, I got free services from Maruti True Value after purchasing the car.
They checked the car and the data in their computer where they found that the require services were not been done.
At the time of last servicing [on 13th Apr] the Car speedometer was showing 43698KM, means I used the car for 1000KM ONLY.
When I complained this thing to the Manager, he didn’t listen to me and forced me to pay the amount.
The car was not in good condition in the time of purchasing or if I put my sentence in this way that the car was not serviced properly which the car needed since it crossed the 40000 KM slab before delivering to me. If the previous owner had not done that, then it was the responsibility of Maruti True Value to do the servicing properly.
Why a person has to spend this much of amount after 11months of purchasing car and when I used that Car only for 1000KM. I was in a guarantee period but they still didn’t give me any free service since the car had technical problems.
Please note one more thing, I neither got any service booklet nor two sets of keys. I got only one set of key. Maruti True value kept me in dark by saying that require things are already given
Please note one more thing, the Car registration on my name was happened after six months of purchasing the car and after lots of chasing and follow-ups done by me. I made lots of calls and sent lots of mail, after which I got my RC.
Are these the kind of services are acceptable. Why Maruti True Value sold me an un-serviced car while they took lots of money from me. Why did they take so much time in doing RC transfer on my name? And why didn’t they give me free service when I was in a guarantee period when the car had technical problem?
