Hi,

This is Deep Mohan Goel; I have gone through with some big problem & mental harassments, just because I have purchased a car from MARUTI UDYOG.

Here are the details:

I have purchased a used car from "RAJ SNEAH" (True Value Division) Meerut, on 02nd September by giving them a cheque of One Lack (Dated: 02/09) as a booking amount, Car number was UP 15 AE 1039 (November model).

On the 14th Sept., Mr. Vineet (Manager) told me that they will not be able to deliver the car as the owner of that car is not ready to sell that car.

Point 1st: If they were not the owner of this car, why they have taken the advance from me & kept for 12 days on that car.

After that, Mr. Ajay Bhardwaj (Manager) has accepted there fault & offered me to buy a new car; however they have not given me any kind of compensation for there mistake & I had to pay Rs. 65, 000/- extra because that used car was as good as new. And as per the circumstances, I have agreed to buy a new car

On the 14th September, I bought a new car & I have told them that I have a PRE APPROVED car loan for 5.35 Lacks through HDFC Bank; I can let them have the approval within two working days.

(For a new car, I have paid them the difference except One Lack, on which I was looking for a loan.)

They told me to take a loan from ICICI Bank, Meerut, through there agent, I said okay on that. They have taken around twenty days to get that loan approved without any fault from my side. And that’s after, when I have told them that I had an approval from HDFC Bank, the next day they have told me that the loan from ICICI has been approved.

(Just because of all this, I had to travel in buses, where I suffered a lot, as I have DUST ALLERGY. Other then this I have given them around 100 of calls & that cost me something)

After that, I had a word with. Mr. Pradeep Sharma (Sales Dept.) and I have requested him for a specific registration number (4212), which is not a VIP number. He assured me about that & promised me to get that number for my car, for which they charged me Rs10, 000/- where as the registration fee for an ALTO car in UP is Rs 8, 200/-.

(I was interested in that number because I have the same number on my other vehicles & I have informed them the same as well)

On the 08th October, I called him & he said that again by mistake he lost that number as well. He suggested me to wait for next 6 months to get that number in next series or to choose any other number as I don’t have anything else to do. He spoiled my efforts to maintain the series of that number.

Now, I would like to tell you, that it’s been 10 years I am using your cars, I trust Maruti cars like anything, but now all this hurts me a lot because this is not a way to fool around the people.

I have all the legal proofs & document for all above, & I am planning to go to the Consumer’s Court
