I and my husband work in IT Company and we are unable to vote as Our voting is in Haryana and we are in Noida. How could one vote in such circumstances.
There are many of us who want to vote but due to distance problem we are unable to vote.
I suggest some steps should be taken in this respect as IT-Company are working for 24-hours and if one is working in one state and has vote in some other state should not stop one from voting.
Voting system should also be made online with unique voter-Id numbers, Passport No. or pan card .so that distance or some other reason won't stop some ones from voting.
Also the process of applying voter-id card should be online so that it can be deliver on time. We have our election once in every 5 years then why EC wastes four years and awakes up just before 1 year for distributing /making voter-ids. Why can’t one make voter-Id any time and at any place s/he is.
India has one of the biggest democratic nations but it feels so bad that our system is not allowing us to contribute in it.
