MERIT NON-STICK COOKWARE
Non-compliance of warranty promises by the manufacture

I have purchased a non-stick cookware of MERIT NON-STICK on 30/09 under the warranty instruction from the company that it is warrantied by the manufacturer (MERIT) for two years from the date of purchase. And I have the warranty card and it clearly states replacement or recoating of the vessel will be done free of charge under this period.

When I approached M/s Thangavel Nadar Stores, 227, RK Mutt Road, Mylapore, chennai-4 from where I purchased the same, they are denying the service by stating that it is warrantied for one year.

So, I got cheated by the manufacturer and the dealer, who sells the product. I have the original bill of Rs.545/- which was issued by the dealer at the time of purchase.

And the approach of the dealer also was in good as if we have done something wrong. They are not interested entertaining my complaint.

At this juncture, I do not know what to do and where to complaint. My sincere intention is no other customer should be cheated like this with joint strategy of manufacturer and dealer.

Anybody can guide me on the consumer complaints office in and around Mylapore, chennai.
