Not returning deposit money

Dear Consumer Affairs,

I was staying in 2010birchwood ct, North Brunswick Manor from Mar Feb. I left the US that month (feb) and the North brunswick management (middlesex management) was supposed to return my deposit money ($1275/ interest) back. However, they did not return the money yet. Whenever I contacted them they told me the check was issued/returned and asked me to send postal mail with a address and copy of drivers license. I have sent 4-5 postal mails so far with different addresses, (out of which one was an US address which belonged to my friend) and number of e-mails. Every time they say they have sent the check, but it never reached the particular address. The last mail was on 3 Apr saying they have sent the check to my Indian address. I did not receive it yet, when I asked for the carrier name and registration/tracking number so that I can track the letter, the management did not give any. I shall forward all the e-mail conversations we had, as evidence, if you need it.

Please help me to get my depsoit money back.
