Faulty Bus - No Wiper in Snowing conditions, distracted driver speaking over Mobile phone always. Ran for 20 km, but took 2 hours. Stop every 1/2 km and cleaned front glass. Finally before Kullu, driver turned around to pick up phone, did not see the road driver and mowed into it. Bus stood all night on the divider in a dark area, nothing in the surroundings, and no back up plan by the operator. Bus owner Mr. Wawi did not pickup the phone at all, all night. We had a connecting flight to catch next day at Delhi, and we made our own taxi arrangements paying high charges from our hand. Now Bus operator and redBus claims that the operator himself arranged the Taxi and paid for it. PURE WHITE LIE.

After we faced such a big ordeal in freezing snow all night, now we have to face the operator LIES that he arranged the backup. I have to find a way to call his LIES and make him refund my ticket cost at least. And I sincerely hope and pray that the Monal Himalayan Travels company operates better buses on the hills and doesn't put other passengers and families in the same horrid situation as us.
