In this regard, the following may please be noted:
1. The depositors, myself Sita Ram Goel and my wife Kamla Goel, are about 77 and 67 years respectively, suffering from a host of health problems, and are in urgent need of huge expenses for medical treatment. It is also relevant to note that we do not have any source of income, and are dependent on the meager savings during our active years, a major portion of which is now lying with your company.
2. We have requested thrice in the last two years, for change of address from previous A-33 Parwana Apartments, Mayur Vihar-I, Delhi – 91 to B-202, Taj Apartments, Gazipur Crossing, Delhi – 110 096. Phone 22230814. Emails were also sent to the Company Secretary and the Managing Director of M/s. Morepen Laboratories in this regard. However, we have not received any acknowledgement in this regard. The relevant executives of the company are not reachable on any of the telephone numbers of the company. As a result, we are not aware whether our address has been updated in the company records or not.
3. Also, we submitted application twice for consideration under Hardship category. In September we submitted the application for consideration under hardship category, along with the enclosures. It was informed telephonically that our application has been accepted for payment under hardship category but since the bank account of the firm were frozen, the same could not be done. Subsequently, we submitted the application again, along with a large number of relevant enclosures, in September, which was again accepted but no relief was made available. The acknowledged applications are enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
Thus it is evident that not only is the firm defaulting in repayment, it has also left the investors in the lurch and not offering even the basic level services it is bound to provide to the investors. In view of the above, it is requested that EXEMPLARY PENAL ACTION BE TAKEN AGAINST THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEFAULTING FIRM, M/s. MOREPEN LABORATORIES, in this regard.
