Dvd writer of moser bear under guarantee co. still not changing it

I purchased a moserbear dvd writer on 2 may from bansal stanmart pvt. Ltd. shakar pur delhi92 within 6 months it started troubling i sent it to co. on 16 march for replacement vide ticket no. NEO77539 now the co. says its guarantee has expired since it was manufactured before march. How are we connected with the manuf. date guarantee is from the selling date. kindly take immediate action against the co. and get me new dvd writer. yhanks in advance.
