We had purchased a Refrigerator Ff 3501 Ice magic elite from M/s Harsha, Hubli vide bill no. 4CG 00019 dt, 04.04.2005.
unfortunately it developed troubles very soon.
since the product was under warranty, the service centre employee took the fridge to the service centre on 28.04.2008 citing replacement of compressor and promised to return the fully repaired fridge within a week.
we recieved the same only after 3 months. the technician claimed shortage of compressors and claimed that he was awaiting one from Chennai. but the delay put us to great hardships and cost us Rs 3000.00 as "service" charges.. All this after e-mailing a complaint to M/s Whirlpool of India Ltd on June 8 and threatened complaining to the consumer forum.
but it was not the end of our woes. the "repaired" refrigerator than developed new snags immedaitely. and the service engineer after much deliberation once again took the fridge for repair on 15.08.2008 promising its return within a day or two. but uptil now we havent heard about the same. telephone calls to the engineer are not acknowledged nor answered.
we are at our wits end.
as a last resort we are forwarding this complaint to you for a prompt redressal.
