MTC DEPARTMENT
Non Stoppage of buses

To,

The Administrative Officer,

Metropolitan Transport Corporation,

Chennai

Sub:

Ref: Bus Depot No: CRI3085 & Route No: 577 Trip Code From Chengleput to Mandhaveli & Ticket Issued Serial Nos: 180366 & 180399.

Dear Sir,

This is in reference to the above subject; I would like to inform you that today I travelled from Chengleput to Vandalur Gate through the reference mentioned service, around 17.00 Hrs from Chengleput to Vandalur Gate

When I asked the conductor to issue a ticket for Vandalur Gate immediately he refused to issue the same and he informed me that this bus won’t stop at vandalur Gate and suggested me to purchase a ticket for Vandalur Zoo or Perungalatur, so I purchased the ticket to Vandalur Gate.

I saw a mobile numbers displayed inside the bus to say the concerns and suggestions to your department, so I dialed to the given complaint number, one of your representative answered to my call politely and he asked for the problem.

I described what was happened in the bus and also I informed him about the order issued by MTC department which was displayed in Vandalur Gate Bus stop that all the busses except Air conditioned bus will stop in Vandalur gate bus stop, He asked to give my hand phone to the conductor and he talked to the conductor for few minutes after the conversation with the conductor the representative informed me that you can get down in Vandalur Gate bus stop itself.

After bus reached the vandalur Zoo bus stop I asked the conductor to give the extension journey ticket from Vandalur Zoo to Vandalur Gate, He gave me the ticket with out getting money from me, and he informed me that he done a mistake so that only he issued a ticket with out getting money from me.

Because of this problem which created unnecessary tension and stress to me and it gives a very bad image of your department by few conductors in the public places between the public.

Moreover I would like to thank your department representative whose timely help made my journey comfortable by getting down in my vandalur gate bus stop

So I request you to look in to this issue and instruct your staffs to not to create unnecessary problem to public,

Thanks & Regards,

Sathish Gajendran.
