I have been registering complaints on Tel Nos 198 and 1504/1 almost every alternate day for the past 3 weeks regarding my 512kbps connection as under but the matter is still not resolved :
" the connection keeps dropping off and re-connecting as much as 20-30 times during the day. Some times
the reconnection is immediate or within a few minutes but at least 2-3 times in a day it takes 1-2 hours to reconnect. MTNL persons just make a telephone call asking whether the internet is connected and if at that moment it is on the close the complaint.
I am an Electrical Engineer and I know that this requires proper investigation of the incoming line, MDF, etc and measurement of Noise, attenuation and other parameters for which it seems MTNL either do not have the Equipment and Qualified Personal or are reluctant to take the trouble to do.
