OUR CONCERNS
RESIDENTS OF
4th CROSS, DAYANANDA LAYOUT, RAMA MURTHY NGR, B’LORE-16
This is to keep you & your department informed that we (residents of 4th Cross, Dayananda Layout, Ramamurthy Nagar, Blore-16) are facing huge crisis in-terms of the road quality, drainage facilities, street lights & garbage in our street.
Road Quality – The tar road which was laid 3 weeks backs have opened cracks & potholes already. We strongly believe the quality of the road is not up to the standards compared to the other roads.
Drainage Facilities – It’s almost 2 weeks now the drainage dug up work is started (one side) after the new road laid a week ago, Still there is no sign of labourers seen to complete the work regularly. The Contractor & the Engineer are not eager to finish the task at the earliest & are purposely delaying the work with unusual reasons. For ex – They say... We don’t have enough labourers, not able to get stones or no time to concentrate your street alone etc. It’s become hard for us to even walk in the street & to take our vehicles out of our own premises. Moreover the cables, pipes & the sanitary pits are damaged because of the dug-up work. Now mosquitoes have started breeding in theses places.
Street Lights – Only two tube lights are in working conditions. Most do not have clamps/pipes fixed to the pole.
Garbage – The garbage van is not regular. It come once or twice maximum a week not everyday.
