With reference to the subject cited above we would like to place on record that we are having current account NO. 02770210000205 with UCO Bank, Hastings Branch at Kolkata having its IFSC Code no. UCBA0000277. We had opened our account in order to remit our payments to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. through RTGS and for which all details were forwarded in writing to the Branch Manager, Uco Bank, Hastings, Kolkata. We did open our account with an assurance from the bank that we can avail RTGS facility but in spite of such assurance not even a single remittance has been made by the bank to our principal company through RTGS mode. It is needless to mention that the bank has refused transfer through RTGS on various pretext such as " either staff is not available" or "card holder is not available" etc. In spite of our protest the bank has refused to transfer funds RTGS . The Officers of the banks willfully not disclosing the reasons for which our company is suffering huge monitory loss on daily basis since the opening of the Current Account with the said bank we are paying almost 1250 to 2000 Rupees for remittance of payment by preparing pay order which UCO Bank is charging every transaction made with the bank. It is needless to mention that almost a lakh of Rupees has been charged by the bank for their non co operation although written complaints have been lodged on several occasions but no steps have been taken by the bank till date. We request your good self to look into the matter and take necessary steps so that the charges our company has been forced to make payment to the bank is recovered which they are will fully not allowing us to utilize the remittance through RTGS in gross violation of Reserve Bank OF India guidelines.
