Accepting of cash in non-cash lane on NH-8

I am a daily user of the national highway 8 which connects from New Delhi to Gurgaon. The toll plaza at this highway is pathetic. Commuters pay cash on the tag lanes and the person takes cash even when the lane is for tag users. I have 2 tags for my vehicles but I feel they are useless since it is not a tag lane anymore. When we ask the people at the tag lane that why they take cash from the people, they have no answer. Even they have put up boards saying that cash are not accepted in tag lane and that the prosecutors shall be penalised. But I am sorry to say that ever since this highway has been open to public, I have not even seen a regular commuter been penalised. Infact when I go to the office and ask them for complaint book, they say that they dont have the book and now they are saying that people give them cash and they have no option but to take it.

My point is that what is the point of creating a tag lane which is supposed to be non-stop for tag users who are waiting for 15 mins to go to Delhi.

We sincerely request you to look into the matter and do something about it.
