The are sending mail of winning lottery and asking money for courier charges

I am junaid from mysore, Karnataka, i think the mail received by me from natwestbankliverpool about the winning money of 250.000 pounds is a fake and the complaints i see is a bundle .my request is that, the people behind this scam should be punished severly, for duping Indians like this.
