I had purchased one Nokia 7210 (353180031377057) mobile phone on 14.10.2009 from M/s. Nice Foto Makers (P) Ltd., vide their cash memo/invoice no.8903.
When opened at home to start it, it was found that its SIM TRAY was broken. The above said dealer/shopkeeper was approached with the complainton 20th October, 09, but they insisted that it was ok at the time of delivery. Since they were adamant on the point that at the time of delivery it was ok, so finally I requested them either to replace the mobile or get it repaired and the mobile was left with them. On 23rd the mobile to me after repair, i.e. they pasted the sim tray with some adhesive.
Since, I was not satisfied with the service provided by the above said dealer/shopkeeper, I approached Nokia Care outlet in Kolkata (Mulali) on 27th October. They checked the set and said that now it will not be covered under any warranty, because its sim tray has been pasted and seals etc. has been tempered with.
I again approached the above said dealer/shopkeeper M/s. Nice Foto Makers (P) Ltd. and told them whole thing, what NOKIA care said me. I again requested them to find out some solution so that atleast my above said mobile phone is covered under warranty.
But they refuse either to replace the set or to ensure continuity of its warranty.
Under the circumstances mentioned above, I feel harassed by the said dealer/shopkeeper, financially as well as mentally.
It is therefore, humbly requested to intervene into the matter and the dealer/shopkeeper M/s. Nice Foto Makers (P) Ltd., be advised either to return my money or be directed to replace the mobile.
