Renewal of passport

Sir, I have applied for renew my passport from my permanent address at Ennakkad, Mannar P.S, Alappuzha Dist, Cochin passport office. Police have came for enquiry and also have taken my statement.(On 20th Mar 09)

But when I check for the status over internet, it is showing that "Police enquiry report not recieved".

Please kindly suggest how to proceed with this
