I recently purchsed some consumables from Nirmala Swagruha Foods, H.No. 6-3-841/5/FF, Opp Swagath Hotel, Side Lane of Chowdhary Mansion, Ameerpet, Hyderabad-16. Ph. No. 64518690/23408690 . The owner of the store initially did not give me the bill which was computer generated since he had changed some value in the bill. But later he agree to give me a bill which i found was only a Quotation/Estimate. When i confronted the shop owner about the same, he said he will give me the cash bill but will charge me 7.5% as tax. This tax amount is not included in the computer generated amount which i was asked to pay. When i probed the reason for the difference he clearly mentioned that the computer generated bill does not have the tax amount since he would not pay the taxed from the accounts in the computer. Clearly stating that he is issuing this 'fake' computer bill to all his customers. whereas the 'original' bill is the one maintained in the bill book.
I am not sure if this is the right forum to take up this issue, but i sincerely request the authorities to take sever action against such tax evaders and cheaters who are not afraid to issue fake bills to the customers. I noticed that his computer bill had the TIN mentioned as 28440566498.
