Delay in passport

Hi Sir,

I started my application for passport on 7/7/09 to change name in my passport. The police verification was done on time. However, when I didnt get passport till 26th Aug, I went to the passport inquiry office to inquire about it.and they told that it will be dispatched on 5th Sept.

However, My passport's online status is showing "OTHERS". Can you please explain what does that mean?

Is there anything that I need to do in this case?

Please help. Its really urgent.
