Friend request to me not displayed in my homepage

I have an orkut account which i access very much and i have he latest version of orkut.

I have usually observed that many of the friend requests which people send to me are not displayed on my homepage..but some are.

I get this point when i visit any of my friend's friend's profile and see the words written in a tab "ACCEPT FRIEND REQUEST? "

This happened several times and maybe there are still many friend requests to me which are still not in my notice.

Therefore I if anyone has any remedy then please do contact me and help me out
