My Son has passed 2 exam from CBSE board with 92% score & has appeared for AIEEE enterance test. His AIEEE roll no. is 27907351. He has secured a rank of 38229 (all India), and a state rank of 5316. We had locked his choices for the 1st round of counselling on 27th june at around 10:00 am.
We received a confirmation for locking on the screen. Later on so as to check we again tried to fill up the choices but the system did not allow stating that we have locked his choices after which we were sure that we had completely locked the choices.
To our surprise we learnt on 30/06/09 morning while checking the seat allotted, we found after entering the roll no, round no-1 . The system displayed that "you have not locked your choices for counselling".
I was stunned & could not understand what was this? ….. may be a system error or something else I could not understand. To the best of your knowledge my son has secured 94 marks in Computer Sc. in 2 level CBSE exam.
Afterwards I tried a lot to contact Asst. Sec. AIEEE Patpargang, Delhi & Chairman CCB NIT Warangal over telephone contact nos. available in broacher but found these nos. always busy. I have mailed both authorities but reply is still awaited.
It is very surprising to find that if a candidate appears the entrance test, goes through it, awaits eagerly for next course of action i.e, counseling & dreams to be an engineer… gets denied admission for such stupid reasons.
If at all found unlocked, the person could have been intimated. What is the fun of getting the admission form filled in along with address & telephone nos.?
We utmost need help from any one so that my son may be considered for further counseling.
