I have applied for my passport on April 9th in Mangalore passport office (SP office) and police enquiry has been done on April 24th from Mangalore and may 12th from Alleppey that is my native. However we didn't receive any updates on this till date. When I checked the status in the site it’s giving: "Your police verification report has not been received by us yet. You may like to follow up with the concerned police authorities. If you need your passport urgently, you have the option of applying under tatkaal, with a Verification Certificate (Annexure-F). "
It’s really urgent because my probation period in my company is extended, as I have not submitted a valid passport. Without which confirmation will not happen. It may lead to termination of my job. To avoid any of these situations I need to know about the details of my passport.
Could you please enquire on the same and do the needful. Below are the application details:
