Police enquiry done but not updated

Sir, I have applied for passport from my permanent address at Tenali in the month of May'08.

Police have came for enquiry and also have taken my statement.

But when I check for the status over internet, it is showing that "Police enquiry report not recieved".

Please kindly suggest how to proceed with this
