I wish to inform you that i had applied for a fresh passport vide Ref file no. A014295 dt 15/4/08 with your RPO Delhi, as my earlier passport no. A4397776 issued on 15/4/1998 by RPO Delhi expired on 14/4.
Against the claim of RPO that new passport will be issued with in 45 days from the date of applying, in my case even after more than 150 days have passed there was no trace of passport. I checked the website of passport.gov.in to check the status of my application. To my surprise, I found out that it said, " Call on this office to complete the application form. Please contact PRO/Superintendent on any working day except Wednesday between 10.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m"
I met the PRO on 27th of July and I was advised by the PRO to file a new application form and enclosed all relevant documents which i did vide my letter ref no RS/08/0729 on 29th July'08 and personally deposited with the PRO.
I have been also assured that my documents are complete and are in order and my passport will be issued at the soonest. But I deeply regret that even after passing of almost 8 weeks there is no show off my passport.
I even sent an Email at the email address given in your website [email protected], but as usual no response
Through this letter I strongly request you to please look into the meter personally and instruct your subordinate to issue me the passport immediately.
