Not presenting the cheques

My father Mr. PARMOD KUMAR GUPTA has taken a personal loan reference no. 15097759 from CITI financial and the bank has taken duly signed instalment cheques from my father but for the last 3 months they have not presented the cheques.

Now they have send a PERSONAL LOAN RECALL CUM TERMINATION NOTICE stating that my father should deposit Rs. 35000/- within 1 week.when we called CUSTOMER CARE they told us that the cheques are misplaced and when we called Mr. GAGAN CHAWLA he said that the cheques are kept

as security and the cheques will be returned at the end i.e when all the payment has been made.

How is it possible as when they have given the loan they have certified it that every month cheque will be presented but now they are saying various other things.

So PLEASE look into this matter as soon as possible and also look onto the notice given to us by Advocates for Citifinancial Consumer Finance Ltd.

PLEASE REPLY US as soon as possible.
