Dear Sir,
I applied for the Personal Loan of one lac in the month of December from the ICICI Bank – Sakar Building, Ahmedabad & on 1st of January I received a Cheque for the same which was carrying my name but a wrong Savings Account Number of the Bank. I return back the cheque to the Bank. I was been told that since my document file is been send to Mumbai Head office Once again we will do correction & then you will get a fresh cheque.
Latter as on 12th Jan I received a fresh cheque from the bank but the EMI with electronic system was submitted on the wrong savings account number (of the previous Cheq which I gave back to the Bank) due to ICICI Banks mistake, as the proper needed correction in file must have not done properly & due to this for 5 months no EMI was been debited in my account.
As a service class person I requested Banks Representative Mr Prakash Mudliar to take this due amount in Installments with my written consent & one fine day as on dated 24th August all of sudden the amount of Rs 10, 254/- was been debited in my account due to which my housing loan EMI was bounced.
Once again last month October same was been repeated for the amount of 3418=00
On approaching again & again ICICI Bank, Sakar, Nehru bridge, A’bad. Office no proper response is found. While if same thing is repeated again & again & if ICICI bank is misusing the ECS/Cheq facility I have no other GO but to launch my Complaint in CERC.
Though it is ICICI banks fault I never deny to pay my dues as I have borrowed the money from the bank but this is not the way to misuse the ECS/Cheq facility & spoil the customers credential.
I have forwarded this letter to CERC SANKOOL- Theltej A’bad & would warn you that if now onwards the same procedure is repeated again without my written consent, than I will launch the complaint in CERC as well as take this matter to the Editor Preeti Shah of “Insight Magazines” of CERC which covers all the injustice towards the consumers as well as put a claim against ICICI bank for spoiling my record.
While this type of misuse of ECS/Cheq can further also impact my balance of EMI’s which has to be further paid for which ICICI bank will be solely responsible.
