I went to purchase a mobile set at Planet-M-retail at City Centre Salt Lake on 25/02/09 at around 3pm. After signing the charge-slip when the phone was delivered to me I found it to be a different model without the facilities asked by me. I pointed out and wanted to change that. But the people at counter refused to do so and keep on saying that once entered it can't be reverted back. I told them to contact their higher-up and make the change. However it wasn’t complied.
I didn’t experience any difficulty in such reversal on other occasions in other retail centres. This refusal is new to me. I then enquired with SBI Card Head-office and they say that it should be possible by the retailer.
The above practice is something reflecting lack of good intention and integrity of Planet-M. I haven’t taken delivery of the item from the shop. This came as a rude shock and I want to warn everybody to think twice before entering a Planet-M shop - they are simply FRAUD!
I want to cancel the transaction. Please advise me how to do it. The details are given below :
