Wrong billing and very bad response by TATA indicom staff

Excess billing in my TATA Internet Plug 2 Surf A/c 802676715

Bad response by the ladies and technicians at Dehradun Dilaram chowk TATA indicom office.

I am using this Plug2Surf facility under Tariff plan – 325Vdata plan for the past six months. Every month I am paying a bill of Rs.325 taxes.

In February, I sent my person to pay the amount (I did not receive the bill statement till date) and surprisingly the bill came to Rs.1482.00.

I visited Dilaram Chowk TATA indicom office. Two lady staff are sitting and one technical staff present in the office. When I raised my query, I was informed that I used the NET for 67 hours and accordingly the bill has to be paid.

I explained them that I did not use the net for so many hours and used only for 14 hours in January. Then I was informed that I might have forgotten to disconnect the net and the meter reading went on continuously. I informed them that I am using Internet for the past 9 years and I am aware of how to disconnect the net and shutdown the laptop. I was made to talk to Mr. Nilesh and he also confirmed that it is my mistake and I have to pay the amount.

I was actually facing lot of issues with the customer care at Dilaram Chowk especially with the two ladies who are very rough in talking and not hearing to what I say. They refused to take any complaint from me. The technical staff sitting at that time (I don’t remember any staff name) also told me that you can speak to any one and you will not get any help.

I am not complaining about the service of TATA Indicom P2S but the attitude of the staff is very very poor. They don’t give any respect to the person on the other side of the counter. This I have seen at the Rajpur road main office where the security guard did not allow me to go inside and there is no place to sit there as all the sales team has already occupied the seats. The technical staff who came from inside the office started shouting on the guard stating “ any one comes here and you call me for that. I have lot of work than attending all these customers”.

It is very sad state that I repeatedly face the problems with the staff of Tata and still I am continuing with TATA.

Things are fine till the time you don’t visit any of the office of TATA. The problem comes only when you visit and you get such a response which really hurts a lot.

I only wish to say that the billing is wrong and I will not accept this bill. I will pay the same if it is confirmed that I used the net for so many hours.

Few points which I would like to highlight :

• I use P2S only on my Laptop and keep a check on Internet Log. Till date I did not face any problem in billing. I was told by your staff that they will not consider Internet log as I might have used the net on some other PC or different locations. I request to provide me the details on how many locations I used the net.

• Till December, I never had the credit limit in my bills but in January, I found a credit limit of Rs.1500.00. My plan is for Rs.325.00 and a credit limit of Rs.1500.00??? Not justified. Please clarify on this also.

• 1800 min data is free per month and I used only 14 hour 38 min 50 sec as per my genuine internet log provided by you under Rs.325.00 plan. This time the bill is entirely showing different figures. None of your staff could explain this to me.

• I am not going to pay the bill for this month till I get clarity on the billing and confirmed that I used my net for 67 hours.
