Dear sir, Today i have been to the post office K.K.Nagar, chennai

for sending some articles to U.S.A.The article is weighed and asked to purchase stamps for Rs. 160/.I gave Rs.500 but i was refused stamps on the grounds that the person did not have change for 500 rupee note inspite of the person possessing the denominations required. When the matter brought to the attention of the postmaster he too didnot answer and wentaway.

Will such irresponsible behaviour shown to the public can be condemed. I request the authorities concerned to take some action and make postoffices customer friendly.
