Dear Sir,
I am a resident of Digboi town in Tisukia district of Assam.By profession I am a mechanical engineer. Here I would like to inform you about the negligence & too much delay of our postal department in Digboi, due to which lots of people (including myself) are suffering.
I want to explain the incident that encountered with me. I had applied for some vacancies in "Airport Authority Of India" few months back. The interview regarding the same was held on 2nd November'2008 at Guwahati. The concerned authority has send me the "admit card" & other necessary documments by post & the same was received by Digboi post office at 24.10.2008. But due to negligence of the Digboi postal department I have received the above mentioned documments today (i.e. on 04.11.08), exactly after 10 days in my home address which is in digboi, only 3 km away from post office. Because of this I could'nt appear the interview on 2nd November'2008 & loose a good oppourtunity to work for a Govt. sector. This type of incident often occurs in our "Digboi post office" & due to which we are loosing some good career prospects.
I hope that you will take necessary measures, so that in future other people's like me will not suffer due to negligence of postal department In Digboi.
