Well, if it isn't hard enough as a citizen of the United States to try to build a company from the ground up, you don't need someone that you pay your hard earned money to to rip you off. I outsourced to an India company and consulted them to see if they can do my project. He charges $4.00 an hour, I was willing to pay $10.00 an hour and he became infuriated, i.e. saying that America has it good and etc and that I was insulting his country. I know it sounds far fetched but I have the emails to prove his lunancy. What does he do he goes into my site and hacks it, takes money and wipes my site clean. I hate to say that we as Americans should only trust those who are born and raised in this country... but more and more do I believe we should do just that. I am or was already quite skittish about paying online but for him to wipe my website clean, become beligerent and then
Luckily, I had his IP address. So, it is just a matter of going to court. If you are thinking about trying to outsource to someone and save money - do NOT do it under any circumstances. Don't give your FTP out to just anybody, make sure you know who they are.
