Fraud Bills after discontinuing the services

My Daughter had a Air tel connection 9810593410 which she surrendered by talking from the same phone to Airtel help desk on 22, Aug. After that phone was not operative and message was registration faied so she was sure the disconnection has happened.

Now she is being called and harressed that she has unpaid bill of Rs 22000 for calls made to Europe and a court case will be done in some other city and you will face trouble otherwise pay this amount.

Same thing happend with couple of my friend who thought it is better to pay as the amounts were small. Company was Airtel again and again. They are also going to put the complain with details now.

I suggest airtel must find out about this fraud and extorsions that is going on in their company.

Other readers pl compaint to consumer courts and on this forum if you have faced this problem. We as citizens must take actions to force companies to stop fraudulant practices and harassment of customers.
